When we woke up at Granny and Grandad’s today it had been snowing very hard. Mummy was not able to go to work as all the trains, tubes and busses were not able to work.
Our car was buried in the snow and after Daddy and brushed it all off he had to dig it out of the snow so we could see if we were going to be able to go home. He managed to get it out and Daddy went on a test drive round the block it all went well and so we quickly loaded the car and set off before the snow started again.
I got all tucked up in my seat and we drove very very slowly there were hardly any cars on the roads and the motorways only had one or two lanes clear of snow. Once we got past Reading things improved until we got near to home and then the roads were bad again.
